Our Royal Rangers Outpost is holding a camp on 14-18 August, 2019 at Moor House Adventure Centre, which is a Scout Campsite. We expect 30-35 children at the camp and these will be supervised by approx. 15 adults, all Ranger outpost commanders during the time on camp.

The camp is organised by the Birtley outpost with visitors from a Royal Rangers outpost in Germany, pictured here. We will have 16 visitors from Germany to join English and Scottish UK outposts. Just in case you are wondering, our visitors aren’t paddling all the way from Germany though! The programme has workshops and activities giving both training and fun!
Activities include: camp-craft, making and striking camp, tying knots, lashing timber, building all the camp furniture we need, making simple fires, cooking over fires, orienteering, a paper trail, and an Olympic games challenge suitable for all.

Cost:
£75 incl. accommodation (tents!), all food and materials needed on the campsite
You will need to bring your own sleeping bag and sleeping mat, although your outpost will try to help with this. A detailed list of clothing and personal items will be supplied later.
